We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female. These two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God. (Gen 1:26-27.) Rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person. This belief also accounts for (1) dressing in conformance with one’s biological sex; (2) using the restrooms, locker rooms, and changing facilities conforming to one’s biological sex. “Biological sex” means the condition of being male or female, which is determined by a person’s chromosomes, and is identified at birth by a person’s anatomy. Those who reject their biological sex are sometimes referred to as “transgender.”
We believe that the term “marriage” has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in an exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture. (Gen 2:18-25.) We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other. (1 Cor 6:18; 7:2-5; Heb 13:4.) We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of the bounds of marriage between one man and one woman.
We believe that any form of sexual immorality and sexual conduct outside the marital union of one man and one woman (including adultery, fornication, homosexual behavior, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, and use of pornography) is sinful and offensive to God. (Matt 15:18-20; 1 Cor 6:9-10.)
We believe that in order to preserve the function and integrity of Cornerstone Christian Schools (CCS) as an expression of the local Body of Christ, and to provide a biblical role model to the families of CCS and the community, it is imperative that all persons employed by CCS, in any capacity, agree to and abide by this Statement on Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality. (Matt 5:16; Phil 2:14-16; 1 Thess 5:22.)
We believe that God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. (Acts 3:19-21; Rom 10:9-10; 1 Cor 6:9-11.)
We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all human life. (Ps 139.)
We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. (Mark 12:28-31; Luke 6:31.) Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with Scripture nor the doctrines of Cornerstone Christian Schools.
The statement of faith does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. The Bible itself, as the inspired and infallible Word of God that speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind, is the sole and final source of all that we believe. For purposes of Cornerstone Christian Schools’ faith, doctrine, practice, policy, and discipline, the Senior Pastor of Cornerstone Church is the school’s final interpretive authority on the Bible’s meaning and application.
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God. We believe in His substitutionary death for all men, His resurrection, and His eventual return to judge the world.
We believe all men are born with a sinful nature and that the work of the Cross was to redeem man from the power of sin. We believe that this salvation is available to all who will receive it.
We believe in the existence of the Holy Spirit as the third person of the Trinity and in His interaction with man. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as manifested by the fruit and the gifts of the Spirit.
We believe in the scripture as the inspired Word of God and that it is the complete revelation of God’s will for mankind. We believe in the absolute authority of the scripture to govern the affairs of men.
We believe that every man is the steward of his life and resources which ultimately belong to God. We believe that tithing is a measure of obedience to the scriptural principles of stewardship.
We believe in the Church as the eternal and universal Body of Christ consisting of all those who have accepted the work of the atonement. We believe in the need for a local assembly of believers for the purpose of evangelism and edification.
We believe in the worship of the Lord through singing, clapping, and the lifting of hands. We believe in the authority of the believer to ask freely of the Lord for his needs.
We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit to the Church body through the anointing of oil by the elders of the church. Divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement, and is the privilege of all believers.
We believe that evangelism is the obligation of every follower of Jesus Christ. The Lord commands us to go out and make disciples of all the earth. We believe that each person is first responsible to evangelism in their own family as the Holy Spirit leads them and gives them the ability.
We believe in the ordinance of water baptism by immersion in obedience to the Word of God. All those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior should be baptized in water as a public profession of their faith in Christ and to experience what the Bible calls the “circumcision of the Spirit.”
We believe that every believer has a unique relationship to the Lord. As His children, every Christian has immediate access to the throne of Grace and the ability to manifest the power of the Lord Jesus Christ in ministry.
We believe in the promise of Genesis 12:3 regarding the Jewish people and the nation of Israel. We believe that this is an eternal covenant between God and the seed of Abraham to which God is faithful.
Everything Christians do should be based upon the Biblical text. Here are seven solid Bible reasons why Christians should support Israel.
It is not possible to say, “I am a Christian” and not love the Jewish people. The Bible teaches that love is not what you say, but what you do. (1 John 3:18) “A bell is not a bell until you ring it, a song is not a song until you sing it, love is not love until you share it.”

There is no fee for transcripts.
While students and parents participating in Cornerstone Christian Schools Online will be supported by degreed/certified teachers and administrators, the parent holds the primary responsibility for making sure the student is prepared to learn. Once enrolled, you have agreed to partner with Cornerstone Christian Schools Online educators to accomplish the task of educating your student. This is a very powerful partnership. Daily parental involvement is essential to ensure your student’s success. Parents are expected to provide all of the materials necessary to ensure a successful educational experience for the student. Additionally, parents should consistently monitor student progress and stay informed through contact with the CCS Online School educators.
Although the yearly academic calendar is preset, you may arrange the school day as you see fit. You may have your student do all the work in one sitting or space it out over the day. Time spent on the computer will vary depending on the type and number of subjects that have been assigned and the student’s level of understanding of the course material.
The online administrative staff, in conjunction with the parent, will set up a student’s school calendar at the beginning of the semester. Based on this calendar, the computer will divide the entire course into a lesson plan. The calendar can be adjusted throughout the year to allow for unplanned events or illness.
Each student is given a maximum of 10 months to complete a 1-credit course and a maximum of 5 months to complete a half-credit course.
If you have two (or more) students working in our computer-based courses, it is easier if your students have two (or more) computers, but it is not required. If there will be two students working on one computer, we recommend having one student complete his or her work in the morning and the other in the afternoon. If there are more than two students in the same family enrolled in the online school, an additional computer is highly recommended.
You can enroll your student(s) any day of the year. Cornerstone Christian Schools Online accepts registrations for enrollment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, through our user friendly online registration form on our website ccsonlinecampus.org . You can also call the Online School Administrative Services at 210-572-1033 or Toll Free at 1-888-872-8554.
The entire enrollment process takes approximately one day to two weeks depending on information given to us by the previous school. The enrollment process includes online registration, transcript processing, placement testing, program placement, and advisement. (Students enrolling full-time in Cornerstone Christian Schools Online will take a placement test.)
Cornerstone Christian Schools Online offers online distance learning to students all over the world. Student work is then transmitted over the Internet for the CCS Online School to grade and record. However, a word of caution: there could be challenges with personal contact via phone or online while students are working on their schoolwork due to extreme differences in time zones.
Based on the placement test results and transfer credits, our Principal will determine the academic level of your student and customize the program accordingly.
If you have an Internet service provider that allows you to set a filter, you will need to set the filter to the lowest level. This program does not work properly with Satellite Dish.
CCS Online School offers a tuition payment plan, for full-time students only, as follows:
Students with learning disabilities may find that working in an online, virtual environment is too challenging or overwhelming. However, with parental supervision, some students with learning challenges such as ADD or ADHD may find that the virtual learning environment will be the means to help them with their learning. Parents and teachers will need to monitor these students closely to determine their success rate. Please note Cornerstone Christian Schools Online is not prepared to work with students who have been diagnosed with severe learning disabilities.
One of the benefits of virtual schooling is the flexibility of the schedule. With the online school, you have the flexibility to change your schedule when it becomes necessary. You do not need to notify the online school of a school day that has been missed. If your student will not be working for three days or more, you are required to inform your teachers and administration.
Daily. We encourage parents to take an active role in their student’s education. The student can communicate with the teacher in three ways. The first is through the Ignitia message system. The second method is to phone the teacher during their office hours. The third method is through Zoom, an online virtual classroom.
Administration contacts parents on a monthly basis concerning student progress. In addition, parents can view student progress online at any time. If an official grade report is needed, we will send one upon request. At the end of the student’s academic year, parents will receive an official student record.
