The purpose of this agreement is to provide a mutual understanding of the goals and responsibilities of Cornerstone Christian Schools by defining the school/parent/student relationship.

Program Goals
Supporting parents and guardians by:

  • Helping parents fulfill their God-given responsibility to be the primary educators of their children
  • Accepting students at their current skill level
  • Prescribing a suitable course of study from the results of placement testing
  • Supplying the Online Campus curriculum needed for the courses
  • Supporting parents with quality technical, administrative, and academic assistance
  • Evaluating, grading/reviewing, recording, and reporting student progress in a timely manner
  • Issuing a diploma upon successful completion of Cornerstone Christian Schools Online Campus graduation requirements

Parental/Guardian Responsibilities
The parent/guardian agrees:

  • To acknowledge that the Online Campus curriculum is written from a Christ-centered Christian world-view in accordance with the CCS mission statement
  • To guide and motivate the student to complete the course of study prescribed by the CCS Online Campus on a daily basis, with the freedom to creatively enrich the basic studies with additional projects, field trips, and lab work.
  • To supervise their student(s) in such a way that maximum learning and achievement may take place. The parent/guardian is responsible for the child's education. The parent/guardian further understands that the work the student submits to the CCS Online Campus should be the student's solely, without access to answer keys or coaching.
  • (For dialups only) To synchronize computer work on a regular basis to allow for ongoing oversight by Online Campus staff.
  • To know, and abide by, the homeschool laws of their country, province, state, and local county or parish. Go to HSLDA for a brief description of state laws and the corresponding websites and e-mail addresses of the homeschool associations.
  • To study and become familiar with the CCS Online Campus orientation materials, curriculum, parent/teacher's manual and to abide by all policies and procedures therein.
  • To pay the tuition, or the first payment plan installment, before the Online Campus curriculum is assigned. Tuition payments must be paid as scheduled by the CCS Online Campus. Tuition covers curriculum and services.
  • To help keep the communication lines open by letting CCS Online Campus teachers know when your student is struggling or is frustrated.
  • To encourage the student to observe the following rules for phone and online etiquette and behavior:
    1. No student is to share his work or answers with any other student in any way.
    2. Student is to show courtesy and respect in all communications with the Online Campus staff.

Please Note:The CCS Online Campus is not staffed at this time to service students with special learning needs.

I understand that the registration fee is nonrefundable regardless of placement test results.

I have read and understand the cancellation and refund policy (located in Pricing). If I choose to cancel or withdraw my student(s), I must notify the CCS Online Campus in writing.

I understand that an academic year is considered to be 200 school days.
